Tatcha
Overview
Tatcha is a luxury skin-care and cosmetics brand inspired by ancient Japanese geisha rituals and is a well-known top selling skincare brand at Sephora with a global presence in Asia, China and Australia.
As part of the Creative department, I had various design roles with a focus on:
- visual merchandising
- in-store graphics, fixtures, store signage
- marketing event graphics
- print design
- social media
- liaising with the Marketing and International Business department
- work with my fellow team members of art directors, creative directors, photographers, project managers and producers
My day-to-day role involved:
- designing and creating technical fixtures
- prototyping store displays
- spec-ing final displays and signage
- work with vendors on refining prototypes within given timelines for seasonal product launch campaigns
Conclusion
Many seasonal campaigns were created in variuos timelines, some for 1 year in order to finalize and refine various prototypes certain timelines that would stretch to a year in which we would have to work with vendors on certain 3d and 2d prototypes and their various refinements and materials that would be within certain budgets. Deadlines were really important in order to produce graphics to launch our products in stores such as Sephora, JC Penney and international stores in Asia and China. We would have to then review and finalize prototypes.
